5 /5 Andre Prince: Sabiib was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding and the service from Sundus was genuinely warm and welcoming. She made us feel looked after without it ever feeling forced. We had the platter for two and it was superb. The meat was exceptional, beautifully tender and full of flavour. Every element on the platter impressed us. The hummus was smooth and rich, the oodkac packed with flavour, the meat sambus crisp and satisfying, the bajiyo light and well seasoned, and the bariis isku karis absolutely spot on. The chicken mango ansalaato was a real highlight. Fresh, vibrant and perfectly balanced, it cut through the richness of the platter brilliantly. Portion sizes were very generous. We were genuinely full by the end and only just managed to consider dessert. A brilliant meal with excellent service. We will definitely be back.

4 /5 Chris L C: Food: For the first time trying Somali food. I was pretty impressed with it! The vegan samosa were a great starter with a great bite and filling to them with some really nice complementary sauces. The lamb which is their trademark dish is also a big plus as well, as it was tender and flavourful but got a bit tougher when colder. My friend loved his vegan dish as well and we had a lovely experience with it. Service: For a super busy service, still really good. Even though our waitress was part of a super busy service, she took time to explain to us what the dishes were as we did not have any Somali food before and gave us good recommendations for our introduction to the cuisine. Atmosphere: Its absolutely electric. The whole restaurant was full and there was a positive energy wherever we looked. The ambience was also great as well generally as well. As someone who never had Somali food before, Im glad we chose Sabiib to be our first restaurant. A welcoming environment, hearty and delicious food and great atmosphere means this place is worth the visit! However if you dont book, be expected to wait for a while!

4 /5 Jasmin de Damas: OMG.. like really!! Such a great place.. So happy we found it and visited.. It felt like a little vacation in London.. Takes you to a different world.. Its quite noisy, but apart from that, every little detail is great.. The staff team are super.. you feel their positive vibe and great energy the minute you enter.. Absolutely fascinating and really appreciated.. Food is tasty, well cooked and generous portion.. Venue is clean and all is perfect.. Loved every bit.. We had a fantastic evening.. Thanks everyone and a special thank you to Fartun who served us on the day.. Not cheap, but definitely worth it..

5 /5 MAK Creates: We ordered the Platter for Two and honestly, it was incredible. Everything was full of flavour. The Somali rice and pasta were delicious, and the slow-cooked lamb shoulder was so tender it just melted. We also tried the seabass, and it was perfectly seasoned with garlic, lime, coriander, and xawaash, definitely one of our favourites. We also had Somali tea and coffee, and both were lovely. The tea had just the right amount of spice and the coffee was smooth and rich. The portions were generous, the food tasted fresh, and it absolutely lived up to all the hype we’ve seen on social media. We left full and really satisfied. We’ll definitely be coming back, highly recommend!

5 /5 Yasmin Abdeen: Somalian cuisine is incredibly delicious. We ordered the platter for two and the portion was sufficient for three average eaters. The rice was fragrant, fluffy and tasty. Meats were well marinated, flavorful and tender. This platter also came with pasta which complimented the meats the same way the meats complimented the rice - it was amazing that meats works perfectly with either staple. There was some thin pancakes served at the side along with a salad, mint sauce and a spicy tamarind sauce (I’m guessing from the colour it’s tamarind). I love that every diner gets a banana to complete their meal. We didn’t get dessert as we were stuffed after the meal. As the place is packed, reservations are a must and be prepared to wait as each sitting is 90 minutes. I noticed that diners who could not finish their meals were given aluminum trays to pack the food and bring it home. What a great way to minimize food waste. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you are in London. It’d be worth the trip.
