5 /5 Paige Busst: Came for the launch of their carvery and honestly it was incredible. Every part of the meal was exceptional, particularly honey roasted pigs in blankets! Will absolutely be back. Potentially the best carvery on the island. We’re very foodie and figured we’d give it a go, definitely worth it! Reasonably priced too

1 /5 Jenna Griffiths: We had a roast dinner here today from the carvery. The staff welcomed us into the building and were friendly accommodating our seating needs. The chef who served us our carvery was also very friendly and polite. Sadly this is where the good experience ended. Food was truly shocking. It was cold, the potatoes under cooked and the gravey watery. The choice of vegetables was minimal. One of us had a Korean burger. This was £14, with tiny patties (i think chicken as it was unidetifiable) covered in bread crumbs. And placed between a cheap tasteless bun with a few bits of pepper on top. Not sure what was Korean about it. Mc donalds were serving better food this summer with their around world menu. The restaurant was (unsuprisingly) empty other than two other tables. One of which made the same complaints as us and took their entire meal home to feed their dog. I personally feed my dog better food than was served up there today. Sadly I hold out little hope for this restaurant, such a shame as the staff were really lovely.

Seaview Staff Friendly Long wait for serving FOOD must IMPROVE (portion & tenderness) Not recommendable for me had Mixed Grill (requested for well done steak) turned out other foods where overdone (sausages, chicken, gamon and rump steak TOUGH and hard to slice even the chicken and gammon NOT TENDER gammon TOO SALTY for my taste (not great value for the price paid) but shoutout to the young lad (wasn’t able to get his name) who attended to us, he was very accomodating and courteous. you can see in the vide how tough to slice the breast chicken and sausages we’re burnt there’s always room for improvement

3 /5 Colin: Fully wheelchair accessible flat entrance. Connected to the hotel next door. On street parking. Small public car park near pier. Parking in Sandown but steep hill between that and restaurant. We came when there was only about two or three other tables. The menu is very limited (can be seen online). The non alcoholic drinks menu is also very limited. Despite being quiet we had a long wait for the waiter. He was friendly and helpful when we did grab him. We also saw the food sitting waiting to be brought over. The food was really nice. We really enjoyed the meal. Although they had run out of a few things. Its right on the sea front so great views. Im not sure if they were short staffed because it was winter but even so it was so quiet in there we couldnt understand why we had to wait so long to order. That and the lack of parking would make me consider other places before coming back here.
