4 /5 Jennifer C: Gamjatang is the highlight and what I would come back for . Other dishes are average - seafood pancake was doughy and lacked seafood toppings. Fried chicken was also dry and didnât have a great batter texture. Japchae was decent
Service was quick and attentive. Cash discount. No Amex accepted
1 /5 Yanni Kam: Skip this placeâthere are better options in London.
BBQ: Completely inauthentic. They line the grill with paper (probably to be lazy with cleaning). The staff insisted on cooking everything for us immediately to stop the paper from burning, which defeats the purpose of DIY BBQ. Even on low heat, there was a strong burnt smell due to the paper.
ïŒi.e. you can see all pork belly was barbecued at once by the staff in my video, even though we hoped to have pork belly and beef rib taking turns.)
Gamjatang: Bland and forgettable. We didnt even finish it. The version at the restaurant in Angel is far superior.
Fried Chicken: The batter was crispy, but the chicken inside was dry and overcooked.
Cold Buckwheat Noodles in Broth: This was the only okay dish, but honestly, thats just because the broth tasted exactly like the instant packaged noodles you buy at a Korean supermarket.
Overall, a disappointing meal. The price was âreasonableâ with a reason. I wouldnt come back.
5 /5 Taha Khambaty: The food was absolutely delicious and the service was good. I enjoyed the beef I got as well as the appetizers. The food came relatively quickly. Only issue would be that the price on appetizer and certain dishes was a bit on the more expensive side. I would recommend this place of you want to try good Korean food with plenty of variety.
4 /5 Tran Nguyen Nhat Linh (Linh): My friend and I went there on a Thursday evening. We didnât have to wait to get a table. But it took us a while to order and have our food. However, the food was delicious. The spicy chicken feet was not burning hot, but I could feel the heat from within making the spice stay a bit longer in my system, which makes this dish perfect for winter weather. The fried chicken are okay, they are still tasty but not outstanding.
5 /5 Lumi Liao: Been there in March with my partner and friend. Food is nice. Ordering too many hh.
Second time still three people but for dinner, sharing fries chicken and rice stick, separately ordered main: beef ribeye BBQ + beef tongue BBQ, and beef soup. All are nice. Itâs very noisy and we can only stay 1.5 hours as the table was reserved. Pay by cask can have discount.
Chiara De Liberato We had a lovely dinner last night at this restaurant that we casually found on our way back from Bromley. reviews were mostly nice and I have to agree! Very clean restaurant, with a lovely family welcoming you.
We had a coke and a vegetable rice and a crunchy fried beef with sweet and sour sauce. They were both very nice dishes, especially the beef! You can see they are clean and use genuine ingredients and know how to give flavours to their dishes.
If I could improve something would be not having a lot of precooked food (it was ready in under 10mins) but I understand itâs most convenient this way.
I hope we will come back soon to try more delicious food!
Natasha Pink Had such an amazing time! Jo and Paul took amazing care of us! Treated us like queens and really made our evening before the show perfect! Thank you guys! Xxx
Clare A great selection of mixed cuisine - Mexican, Japanese, Indian, Chinese, Burgers, Pizza, etc. - a well stocked bar. Indoor and outdoor seating with a fun urban vibe. Because theres so much choice, its a great place to go with friends, you can all get something different if you want to. I saw vegetarian options, too. And there was a different access point at the back for disabled people. So very inclusive.
