5 /5 Ronak Patel: Wow this is an instant classic restaurant! I was so excited to visit shurzos because it is the only Indian in Camberwell and it did exceeded my expectations for all of us. We sat at one of the booths and ordered many different dishes. I was really impressed with the quality of all the dishes, we had onion bhaji, samosa, paneer and aubergine to start and it really set a great tone. Main courses were all excellent. Our only mistake was not ordering the whole tandoori chicken - we only had the half. Faultless dishes and really lovey service from Mohamed. I am looking forward to coming back and recommend anyone to visit!!
5 /5 Mick ONeill: A fantastic find in Camberwell. Recently opened, so is brand new in fittings and furnishings and is spotless. A wide range of South Indian dishes. We opted for a chicken dhansak and a chicken bhuna with rice and garlic naan. All of the food was delicious piping hot and so moreish. The owner is a very nice man and even offered us some liqueurs free of charge! Do yourselves a favour and go here for a fantastic dining experience.
5 /5 Karolina livsic: A nice addition to the Camberwell food scene. We were missing an Indian restaurant. I didnt expect the food to be so good. The food was fresh and fragrant. Even if we were the only ones dining in at first, quite a few take-away drivers were coming in to pick up the orders. I am always worried about food rotation.
Our waiter was very professional and attentive. We are pleasantly surprised how good this visit turned out to be. We will be back. Thank you.
5 /5 sophie newell: Hurray! Finally Camberwell has a really good Indian restaurant.
We ordered a takeaway (such a relief not to have to use Deliveroo it was so much cheaper just to go directly to Shurzo).
It was a big order but the food came really quickly and piping hot and totally delicious. We have had a few Indian takeaways over the years but i would say this was among the best.
The meat was tender, the sauces felt authentic and the whole meal was full of fresh ingerdients and was made with care.
We will definitely be back.
jasmine theobold DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!
THIS IS THE WORST CHINESE TAKEAWAY IN LONDON !!!!
After ordering what was supposed to be ‘sweet and sour chicken’ I received what looked like deep fried chicken meatballs that were stone cold and god knows what sweet and sour sauce they bought but it was inedible.
The ‘duck spring rolls’ were burnt and black inside! The salt and pepper chicken was the driest thing I have tasted in my life even a drink didn’t help it go down.
Do not even let me get started on the beef chowmein there was this jelly like film all over the beef!
After complaining they were extremely rude on the phone and adamant that it was just me.
Once again, NEVER COME TO THIS RESTAURANT
Paul Jauncey Absolutely delicious sandwiches! We shared two of the vegan options, some fries, and the fried tomatoes. Even though the pub was really busy, the food came quickly, and we were full for hours.
Phoebe Worsnop Absolutely amazing rare beef pho, up there with the best I’ve ever had! The broth is incredible, so light but with such a depth of flavour. Can’t recommend enough. Pho usually only on the menu on Saturdays though! Lovely, friendly staff too. Banh mi also very good, nice selection of fillings and delicious iced and hot Vietnamese coffee.
Deedee Hassan Pelumi is a real Gem, please give her our thank you. She made sure my mums birthday was unforgettable, very polite and friendly.
A big thank you to India as well. The manager and the barman. They were all absolutely brilliant. My mum had an unforgettable birthday, we are truly grateful to your entire team.
