Anand Roy Having been coming to the Alliance for years, usually only for drinks, we finally decided to try the food there. We got the Black Pudding Scotch egg to start. This hands down was the best scotch egg I have ever eaten - we had to give compliments to the chef. The perfectly fried coating of pork and black pudding, the wonderfully creamy runny egg yolk was divine. This is a must have and despite the high price - £9.50, I wouldnt hesitate to get it again. I had the beer battered Fish and Chips, whilst my partner had the chicken leek and mushroom pie. Both of which fresh and clearly hand made with high quality ingredients. The food is definitely worth a try - alongside other of their excellent wines. I am annoyed that I didnt try the food before.

Isabelle Schreuder Very good value for money tapas! Almost everything we had was very tasty and it was good portion sizes. They have a super large menu so plenty of vegetarian, fish and meat options, so a good option for everyone. My personal favourite was the octopus, very well cooked, not rubbery at all. Service was friendly and quick. Would come back here for a casual lunch or dinner.
