Service remained friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was lively without feeling chaotic. It was clear the staff put a lot of effort into making the evening special, and it really paid off. Pria I was served by Sarah today, and she was absolutely lovely. She was so kind and attentive — constantly keeping an eye on our table and clearing glasses as soon as we’d finished, which made such a difference since we only had a small table. She made sure we always had plenty of space and was really friendly and easy to chat with. On top of that, she pours a perfect pint! Her attention to detail and great attitude really stood out — brilliant service all round.

Helalur Rahman I recently visited The Anchor in Bexleyheath, and it was hands down one of the best fish and chip experiences I’ve ever had! The food was cooked to perfection — the batter on the fish was golden, crisp, and not at all greasy, while the fish itself was beautifully flaky and fresh. The chips were perfectly cooked too — fluffy inside with just the right crunch. The portion sizes were generous, and everything tasted freshly made to order. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and clearly take pride in what they do, which really adds to the overall experience. The shop was clean, well-presented, and the service was quick and efficient. It’s great to see a place maintaining such high standards — The Anchor is a real gem in Bexleyheath. Whether you’re popping in for a quick takeaway or planning a family meal, you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommended!
