The Ardleigh - (Near , london)

H Such a great independent restaurant in the heart of Teddington. It only has around 15 tables so it was a fairly quiet and relaxing atmosphere when I visited. The menu had a good selection of vegetarian dishes and I was advised that vegan dishes were no problem - I think most of them were vegan by default. I tried vegetable gyoza, spring rolls, tofu in a slightly spicy coconut sauce, and stir fried broccoli in soy sauce, with steamed rice. Everything was cooked to perfection and served piping hot. Staff were friendly and really attentive, checking with us if we were ready for the main dishes when the plates from the starters were cleared. Prices were good. 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 portions of rice, beers and a coffee came to £60. Ill definitely be back.

x xx i can’t eat spicy food because i have a very sensitive stomach but when i said this, the lady was very understanding and recommended the lamb curry which was amazing, the meat was so tender, it wasn’t spicy, the flavours were perfect. i’d 100% recommend you to try the food there, i’ll definitely be going back for more!! :)

The G Force One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. The smoked salmon was delicious & the scrambled egg was soft & light. I also tried the non alcoholic peach Bellini which was amazing & refreshing. The decor is beautiful, very clean & comfortable. The service was excellent.

Steven Edwards I just wanted to share some feedback about my recent visit. The whole team was absolutely amazing — friendly, efficient, and full of positive energy. It genuinely made the experience stand out. I also want to highlight the man wearing the white and green shirt (I’m assuming he’s a manager). He was incredible to watch — smiling, interacting with customers, helping in the kitchen, clearing tables, checking in on people, and running plates to tables. Seeing someone lead by example like that really shows how much pride he takes in supporting both the team and the customers. The food was also fantastic, especially the new menu items. Everything was fresh, delicious, and full of flavour — a real step up that made the meal even more enjoyable. Huge well done to everyone. Your hard work, great atmosphere, and amazing food definitely don’t go unnoticed!
