Dill Jones A class act. been coming here for my regular coffee treat and the odd lunch or event over the years, and while I don’t usually write reviews, Saturdays visit deserves my time here. I have gotten to know the team over the years and they have every bit of integrity and professionalism you want in your favourite haunt. I go back time and time again because I trust the team here. Saturday it seemed the whole world descended onto the beach and the lovely team were doing the usual runs. I sat and enjoyed the brilliant views, a glass of vino and waited (a little longer than usual) for my fish finger sandwich. Bliss! The wait doesn’t matter much when you have a sunny Saturday afternoon off, views like they have and a cold glass of wine. As I said I have gotten to know the team over the years, and I could see they were feeling a little defeated. Please remember… we are all going through a hard economic time right now. Hospitality is tough especially. If we want to keep enjoying these fantastic local spots, we owe it to the staff to give them grace and we owe ourselves a little less self importance and a lot more perspective. Keep it up all. Looking forward to my next coffee and fish sarnie!

Abdul Manik I recently dined at Zafron in Crawley, and it was a truly delightful experience that I’d happily recommend. We ordered the mixed grill and the charsi chicken curry Afghani style, accompanied by freshly made naan breads and a refreshing mojito. The mixed grill was cooked to perfection – tender, juicy, and well-seasoned, offering a great variety of flavors in one plate. The Afghani-style chicken curry stood out with its rich, aromatic spices and comforting depth, making it a dish I’d gladly have again. The naan breads were soft, fluffy, and perfect for scooping up every last bit of curry. The drinks complemented the meal beautifully – the mojito was light, crisp, and refreshing, balancing the boldness of the food. Overall, Zafron manages to combine delicious food, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere, making it a place well worth visiting.

Zakariya Shahan Always amazing service and amazing food, if you want chicken and chips, this is the place to go. The quality is always the best and the uncles are always there to help. Hands down best fried chicken shop in Forest Gate/Upton Park

Zumral Kaplankiran The pizzas had a perfectly crispy base and fresh flavourful toppings. The service was just as good, Sev and Maddy were super friendly and made the experience even better. Big shoutout to Chef Tommy for the incredible food. Definitely coming back!!!!

cat dominic This is my favourite restaurant where I come here very often. They do be dry good Indian food and sizzlers! The Chinese fry beef noodles, crispy noodles and Singapore noodles are very authentic! I especially give credit to the staff Priyanshi, a very hard working staff!! Really like her! Also Ruchit(I always thought he is the boss) is very friendly and welcoming us! You could see a lot of people coming for parties. I requested to watch tennis tournaments in TNT and they will turn the channel for me. 100% recommend ! :) full of happiness in CRown of Bromley !
