Badar Ali This was my first visit to the restaurant, and it was a very pleasant experience. The environment was calm and the decor was attractive, with soft and peaceful background noise. Our server Karishma was friendly, polite, and knowledgeable about the food. She recommended the mutton curry and biryani, which were very tasty, well cooked, and rich in flavor. The spices were well balanced, and the grilled dishes were excellent, smoky, fresh, and cooked just right. The service was good, and we felt comfortable throughout the visit. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to visiting again.

Dee S Everything was cooked perfectly. The chicken was very tender, the fries the right amount of crispy. Staff showed a lot of care when preparing my collection order. Ill happily order again. One constructive note: the fries were cooked just right, but tasted on the edge of the oil needing to be changed. You might want to swap the oil out just a bit more frequently. Victoria Moores If you haven’t been here yet, try it. I had a lovely experience at Tonka this afternoon. From the moment I arrived, I felt seen and at home (as a solo diner, I really appreciated the corner table, rather than being seated in the centre of the restaurant). San and the team were great, and the food was superb. I’ve already booked again for next week. Please support this local small business; they’re doing a great job of offering unique and creative food in a comfortable cosy setting, with superb service.

Bruce Miller A real gem find. Small, has around 10 tables, but great ambience. Very good menu with Philipino and Thai dishes. Not a huge menu which I personally like. Had Adobong Manok and Bistek Tagalok and both were amazing. Very tender meat and drop dead tasty, couldnt fault at all. The chilli dip was very hot! Great service and very reasonably priced, will be going back and highly recommend.

LKK Very nice food, excellent service and good value for money with plenty of options on the menu. It’s very popular place Brighton which was recommended to me by many. Definitely will be returning.

Corina D Dishes are extremely tasty and well cooked, with nice subtle flavours and spices were not overpowering. I found the medium prawn puri, Mehek special (inc cauliflower bhaji) and Mehek delight fully tolerable with my delicate stomach and would recommend you try this place if you usually have intolerances to heavy spices. Price is also very reasonable as £20 was enough food for 2 people (or me for 2 days). First order was very slow 1.5hrs but Ive now adjusted my rating as they delivered within the estimated timescale for my 2nd order.
