Eeman Qamar Lovely little place with authentic, home cooked fresh food. The Desi chai hits the spot, so well made with a sprinkle of sweet cinnamon. Tried the Filipino Pan-set with beef on owner’s recommendation and it did not disappoint! I can eat it all day every day, the beautiful velvety beef just mets in your mouth and those spring rolls are to die for. The noodles are perfect and light and the portion size is generous, I ate to my content and still had enough leftover for another meal. I would definitely come back and recommend it to everyone.

Sam I had gone to the Himalaya restaurant in Green Street after a very long time, so I did a double take when I saw it had been refurbished. In fact, I thought it was a completely different restaurant at first glance. It was cosy inside and the decor was aesthetically pleasing. Service wise, it was the same as how its always been- you select the food you want at the counter, pay for it, and then sit down at your table and wait for the food to arrive. My friend and I had between us, a chicken biryani, grilled chicken tikka and a chicken seekh kebab, there was a small salad and yogurt raita and chilli sauce on the side. Overall the food was flavoursome and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The experience was relaxing and enjoyable and I would recommend the restaurant.

Rikki Hunt Lovely food and really generous portions – definitely great value for money! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Service was excellent, especially from Noor, who was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very well looked after. Would definitely recommend and will 100% be coming back!

Saj LL (Lui) Best Indian takeaway in Southampton! Awesome customer service, they remember their regulars and treat them well. They are food for the soul. They have good amount of meat from their curries and biryanis. I love their Royal chicken chili biryani and the chef special mix masala. The naans are so good as well. All of these for very reasonable price. These type of businesses need to be looked after and be supported for a long time. I look forward to trying more from menu. Update: food whipped by the owner Dilan is still good! Owner is always awesome and gives good recommendations for curry. Never missed a beat every time we order. All orders are cooked fresh. rajiv hadnt had the chance to check out the original in soho/chinatown but only heard good things so was excited to try it when a branch opened up on portobello. cool looking spot with great service. the pork belly was tender with a nice crunch on top and came with a really nice, tangy sauce. sweetcorn fritters were crispy and moreish, we were sat at the bar so nice to see this all being made in front of us. our favourite starter though was the chicken and green mango salad, amazing dressing on this one (recommended by our server Nuria). the tom yam mama was another top dish, that soup is super flavourful and rich. the portions feel a bit small for the price but the food was all delicious

Jessica callan Great lunch experience. We ordered wraps and side salad and both were amazing. Good quality outstanding and restaurant clean. Our waiter Freddie was welcoming and friendly. Had a great sense of humour which added to the experience. Recommend this place for 100%.
