Tom Heasman I cant count the amount of times Ive been passed The Orchard and never thought to go inside. Finally went in for a spot of brunch yesterday lunch with family and I love it! The atmosphere is really cosy and welcoming and our server was brilliant. She got us sorted in no time. 3 caramel Lattes, toasted tea cakes for my sister and mum and the American pancakes for me. I cannot state this enough, the pancakes are amazing! Thick pancakes with melted cheese, bacon, sausage and a fried egg on top with maple syrup on the side. Absolutely banging! I did not know pancakes could taste so good. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options if thats what you like too. Im definitely curious about the Buddha bowl. Will definitely be back in future.

George Isted My partner and I wanted somewhere a little bit special for our anniversary dinner and Tern delivered and more. A fantastic experience from arrival to leaving with friendly attentive staff and pleasant surroundings. We enjoyed the 5 course (+ cheese) menu and it can only be described as excellent. An amazing fusion and balance of delicate flavours (especially the halibut which was exquisite) that would be hard to beat and worthy of Michelin star restaurants I have visited in the past. Thanks so much for making it a wonderful visit including the extra’s provided for our anniversary. It was appreciated and I can’t wait to come back to see what is on the menu next time! If there was any criticism I would say the lighting above the tables was a little bright for a relaxed evening setting.

Mathew Busk Yuuum. Those chips are super tasty! The saltyness, thickness on the cut chunky chips, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside just how I like it! Chicken chow mien noodles were rather tasty too! Lovely reception waiting area haven’t seen a fish tank in a Chinese for a long time overall v much appreciated many thanks. Mark Sheppard One of the last things I expected to find in Littlehampton Harbour was an American Diner but this hidden gem is exactly what I found. The staff were welcoming and friendly. There was classic 50s rock n roll music playing on the jukebox. There is a lot of classic nostalgia on the walls including Elvis pictures I had an American breakfast, it was very tasty indeed, and a mint chocolate milkshake which was delicious. I wanted to try one of the enormous muffins but I couldnt have managed one after the breakfast, they did look impressive. It was very reasonably priced. I highly recommend this diner to anyone visiting the area or local looking for a tasty breakfast or lunch.

Jo Loft We had the most wonderful dinner at The Pig in Madehurst while celebrating our 40th birthdays, and it truly made the occasion feel special. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and relaxed, and the food was absolutely fantastic—beautifully presented and full of flavour. What really made the evening stand out, though, was the exceptional service. Grace looked after us brilliantly throughout the meal—friendly, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Dan, the manager, also went out of his way to make sure our celebration felt memorable, which we really appreciated. It was the perfect place to celebrate such a milestone, and we left feeling thoroughly spoiled. Thank you to the whole team for a fantastic evening—we can’t wait to come back!
