The space is thoughtfully designed with a contemporary edge, featuring warm lighting and comfortable seating that invites lingering conversations. What truly elevated the mood was the spot-on selection of jazz music playing softly in the background—smooth, unobtrusive, and perfectly complementing the lively yet relaxed vibe. It’s the kind of setting that makes you forget the hustle outside and fully immerse yourself in the evening. Service was a standout highlight, thanks to our attentive server, Saqlene. He anticipated our every need with genuine warmth and efficiency, from recommending pairings to ensuring our glasses were never empty. His professionalism and enthusiasm added a personal touch that made the meal feel truly special—kudos to him for making us feel like valued guests throughout. Now, onto the food: East Eatery delivers on its promise of bold, flavoursome dishes. Gee P Love this place. Lunch is great. Super selection and haven’t found anything I don’t like. But morning is the hidden gem as they do a mega breakfast for less than £5 (price as of 2021 Xmas). I am usually in early and this is a great start to the day.

Natalie Farthing Food here was delicious and ready for us to collect in record time, especially as we only work a few minutes walk from the shop! Ordered for 4 people and got massive amounts of food for really good value for money, and the quality of the food was also fantastic and tasted great. Think this will be a regular lunch stop for us at RCS!

Elouise A brilliant evening out! The food was impeccable, from the presentation to the taste of each course. The staff are friendly and there’s a welcoming atmosphere. It’s got plenty of areas for photo opportunities with staff willing to take photos for you! There was live music which was a lovely addition to the meal we had. We will definitely be heading back soon!

jandj Celebrated my birthday with my family here last weekend. There were 20 of us and we had the set sharing menu - a fantastic variety of starters followed by grilled meats and tagines. A great mix of meat and vegetarian options were included, everything was delicious and the service was friendly, efficient and understated. I really appreciated the chef taking time to come and explain the options and tailor them to us. Plus the fact we took our own wine helped keep the cost very reasonable for such a big group. Sougtani is a hidden gem that I’d highly recommend.

Billy We ordered a couple of portion of tacos, chicken chipotle and spicy lamb as well as some beef nachos, the food was lovely, the guy working there was very helpful too with explaining the size of the dishes. I would definitely recommend their food and also their great service
