5 /5 Holly Edgar: Hired the private function area for a party. Staff were so accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. We were able to decorate the room, put a photo slideshow on the tv and they provided a soundbar so we could play our own music. The hot buffet was exceptional. Everyone had such an amazing evening. I would highly recommend The Waterside for your next party!

I’m an experienced diner of many establishments here and abroad and I can only say how much I enjoyed the carvery, it was excellent, coupled with super service and a lovely ambiance. If you haven’t been you must try The Waterside it rates in my top 3 pub roasts of all time. Thank you

5 /5 Natalie Gemma: We had the best roast we’ve had out in a long time we were genuinely pleasantly surprised by how good it was. We visited on a Sunday when it was fairly busy, but we were seated promptly, and the service was excellent. Our server, Rosie S/F (apologies, I can’t quite remember the full name!), was an absolute delight friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The roast dinners were served hot, and both the lamb and beef were cooked to perfection. The Yorkshire pudding was just right crispy on the outside, soft in the middle and it all came with just the right amount of gravy. We also liked that they brought out the sides of vegetables separately a nice touch that made it feel that bit more special. We’ll definitely be back!

5 /5 Andrew Glen - Williamson: We met up with some friends for a lunch here on Sunday afternoon. The service was friendly and efficient. We were looked after so well, from the moment we arrived to the time we left. The food was really lovely too and the prices were very reasonable. I went for the Sunday roast lamb. I was very happy with the portion size and quality of food. The cricket World Cup final was on, and so we watched that too. All in all, a great afternoon and definitely worth a visit. The property is really well kept, clean, tidy and a large play area outside foe children.
