Natasha Fisher This is honestly one of the best Indian meals Ive had! It was delicious, it had spicy options and mild but very flavorful dishes. The menu also had a large variety of dishes that I didnt recognize and it made the experience feel like I was actually getting to try a real taste of India. The food, service and atmosphere was brilliant. This food was authentic, cooked fresh and just superb! The owner and the chef are clear food lovers! Highly recommend!!

Louise Kolman Never eaten Lebanese food before and now I love it! I had a yoghurt dish with lamb and it was delicious! Also they had gluten free bread that they put into a heart on the plate, very thoughtful! If youre in the area definitely go here!

Thirty Nine Whitstable - Kent

Rating: 4.4 /5
Jenny B This is a creative, welcoming restaurant with a talented chef. I visited Whitstable with two good friends and visiting 39 (or Laurens as I prefer to call it) was one of our highlights. Whitstable is already a place worth celebrating for its pretty scenery, clear blue sea and independent shops, and this place was a hidden gem - though not so hidden as we found it through good Google reviews! We were very kindly welcomed by Fairlie and Roy and enjoyed the cocktails, with Head Chef Laurens Lemon Drop being the winner! The food was a delicious fusion of flavours! We found that five of the small plates shared by three of us was filling enough that we didnt ask for a desert. I would recommend giving 39/Laurens a try for its food, creative gallery feel and friendly ambience and if Roy is there he will happily tell you about the local area so do ask him!

In Anitas Kitchen - Exclusive Indian Dining - Bookings Only - Oxfordshire

Rating: 5 /5
Sal V We booked In Anita’s Kitchen to celebrate a friend’s 50th birthday and it turned out to be one of the most special dining experiences we’ve ever had. There were six of us and Anita welcomed us into her home like old friends. The setting is intimate and relaxed, which made the whole evening feel incredibly comfortable and personal. Anita prepared a beautiful 7-course vegetarian menu, cooking each dish in front of us and talking us through the ingredients, techniques and little tips that make such a difference. It felt like a cross between a private supper club and a hands-on cooking masterclass, but without any pressure, just pure enjoyment. Every course was delicious, thoughtfully put together and full of flavour, and the pacing of the evening was perfect. What really made it extra special, though, was Anita herself: warm, knowledgeable, and a genuinely wonderful host who made everyone feel included and at ease. It was a wholesome, memorable experience and such a unique way to celebrate a milestone birthday. If you’re looking for something more personal than a restaurant and love great freshly cooked food, I can’t recommend this experience highly enough. Thank you Anita! Sailesh

Nethmi Lavanya Absolutely delicious food. Its a great place to satisfy South Asian and South East Asian cravings. I especially enjoyed the chicken fried rice, chicken nasi gooren, and roti canai. Food comes fast, and tastes delicious. And the portion size is very generous. 10/10. 100% recommend giving this restaurant a try.
