5 /5 Sinead Power: A dear friend kindly organised my baby shower here recently on a Saturday afternoon (from 2pm-5pm) and it was so lovely and intimate. Food was delicious (especially the sandwich and with roasted tomatoes with whipped feta, the mini carrot cakes and chocolate cake with peanut butter ganache). Lucy was extra attentive and helped with flower arrangements and beautiful extra touches and they kindly kept the area open an extra hour for us after the main restaurant closed. Would definitely recommend for any special event! Thank you!
4 /5 Fatima Lahham: This is a beautiful cafe where I stopped for lunch yesterday. I shared a slice of broccoli and tomato quiche with carrot salad, a lentil and radish soup, and finished off with a hot chocolate and banana bread. The food was all delicious, fresh and well seasoned with fragrant flavours. The waiting times were really quick and the atmosphere was great, family vibes and lots of friendly people we shared a big table with. The toilets are also clean and accessible. The only thing I would say is that some of the staff seemed very stressed out which made me concerned for their working conditions.
1 /5 Rory Philpott: I’ve had two previous bad experiences here but when one of the staff said “most annoying order ever” to her colleague right in front of me I decided that was the third and final strike. Won’t be coming here again. £4.25 for this icecream- maybe they charge extra for the hair we found in it!
5 /5 Aaron OHara: A cute venue, very friendly staff and delicious food. Ive had the snickerdoodle and kimchi toastie a couple of times now. The kimchi toastie is rich and cheesey and the snickerdoodle has that peanut butter chewieness and sweet hit from the date. Really like it here, will be back.
Yasmin U Best Chinese in Aldershot. Me and my husband have been coming here for many years now and we have never had a bad meal. Food quality is always amazing and always hot when we get home.
CJ M A cosy and warm restaurant in Highbury.
The staff are friendly, inviting, helpful and happy.
The food - absolutely divine, cannot fault anything.
We loved the prawn starter rolls, beef in black bean, jasmine rice and beef noodle pho (soup dish with noodles).
You can also ring the restaurant, order and collect yourself (for a good price - said the waiter) OR
Order through Uber/Deliveroo and pay their charges.
Dave I was eating here before the refurb and it’s only gotten better since. Not every shop gets the wings right but chicken city does.
Highly recommend the grilled chicken
Kun & Yuan Indian street food with a warm welcome and friendly owners. Exceptional value for very delicious food. Everything seems to be made fresh and at this price point you practically order the entire menu and still have change. In this day and age of inflation, this little corner of Rayners Lane is a breath of air as fresh as its food.
Nadine Gauld We booked a table for 6 at Kindred ahead of seeing a comedian at the Apollo. Not sure what to expect but it was fantastic - love the atmosphere, the background music was great and I am sure its even better when there is live music on. The staff were lovely and welcoming. We had one of each of the nibbles items on the menu as well as two pizzettes - the food was tasty, well presented and a wide variety of choices including vegetarian. Highly recommended!
Adam Davies The food itself isn’t awful, but the delivery is diabolical. I understand it can be busy but three times I’ve ordered and all on different days. Each time delivery has been nearly 2 hours from the order being placed.
On the last occasion, we rang three times because each time we were being told by the man on the phone, “20 mins until delivery” and even then we waited another hour.
