5 /5 James: The service at this restaurant was very good; the staff were polite & attentive, they welcomed us and said goodbye when we left. The starters were excellent; the scallops were prepared really well and the tempura prawn was light and tasty. For mains we had mussels which were fresh and served in a delicious sauce. We also tried the Singapore tiger prawn which were good, but paled in comparison to the other dishes. My one small criticism is that the interior could do with modernising and a bit of a dust around the coffee machine! If you want some seafood in a very typically British location this is a good choice.

5 /5 Hugh Price: Great local restaurant right next to the river. Key points- service charge not automatically added to the bill, there is a specials board, the mussels are fantastic especially with the homecooked bread. Very tasty food, friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

5 /5 Mike Lee: Rowan Was a great waiter. My partner I thought it was better than the giggling squid so that speaks for itself. I really enjoyed the meal. We had a nice day down the beach. We wanted to get seafood- found this place on Google Maps and thought lets try it out needless to say we were very pleased and happy that we did go there. There was a lovely really nice atmosphere (of course I had the best company possible) a really nice place to go with family or friends I imagine youll definitely have a nice meal and enjoy a nice drink whether it be alcoholic or soft. if you havent been its definitely worth a visit ?

5 /5 Chloe Bru: Took my daughter for lunch on a rainy Saturday in September. I will 100% be back! We shared the prawns to start and the batter was so light while the prawns were perfectly seasoned and cooked. Presentation was gorgeous. My daughter then had a huge portion of fish and chips while I completely overindulged on the mussels. In hindsight I wouldnt have ordered a starter because I was unable to finish my huge pot of delicious mussels which felt very wasteful of me! My only draw back is that the restaurant is not dog friendly, which I completely understand but as we come to the area camping frequently, we dont have anywhere to leave our dogs so my husband couldnt join us. Special thank you to our lovely waitress who was so polite and efficient.
