The staff, including the manager/owner, were friendly, laughing and joking together, creating a really positive and warm atmosphere—something rare in London restaurants. Special thanks to the Turkish waitress—she was amazing, kind, and even returned my forgotten hat! I truly felt like she was a friend and she deserves a promotion. WWG GD Second visit here and we love it. A lovely restaurant with cozy vibes and consistently good food. The blonde-haired waitress was especially warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The hash brown is a must-order — perfectly cooked, neither hard nor mushy. The Eggs Royale with smoked salmon was well-balanced and not overly salty. I also loved the hot chocolate: not too sweet and just right for the weather. The sausage in all-day giraffe’s brunch was flavourful as well. If there’s one small improvement, it would be having the bacon a little softer, and the muffin in the Eggs Royale more fluffy and tender. Overall, still a very enjoyable experience and I’d happily return!

Sabrina S Milk Balham never disappoints. Every time I go, the atmosphere is buzzing but still relaxed, and it just has that really cool, laid-back vibe that makes you want to stay for hours. The space feels bright and welcoming, and even when it’s busy it still runs smoothly. The food is honestly so good — you can tell everything is fresh and made with care. The portions are generous, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. It’s one of those places where you struggle to choose because everything on the menu sounds amazing. The coffee is also spot on every time, which is so important for a proper brunch. The staff are friendly, helpful and always accommodating, even during peak times. Service feels genuine and not rushed, which makes the whole experience even better. Definitely one of the best brunch spots in Balham — always worth the visit and I’ll 100% keep coming back.

Kevin Estey Fantastic discovery down the road from Westminster Abbey. We were looking for a full English breakfast, but unfortunately it was just past 11:30 but Adam and Eve was open before midday. We popped in, ordered some pints and some pies and some fish and chips and had the best alternative to breakfast we could. Great hospitality, wonderful atmosphere and great vibe all around.
