2 /5 Melanie F: We visited last night for a couple of drinks in the beer garden. Conclusion: some serious room for improvement! The wine was served in dirty glasses (youd expect better considering the price of a glass of wine). We also ordered drinks via the QR code and they took far too long to be served, whilst we were pretty much the only customers there. I ended up having to go to the bar to get the drinks I had ordered. Not happy since I had paid an extra service charge to get the drinks brought to me. No apology either from the bar staff. Disappointing.

5 /5 N H: Love coming here whether it’s for a quick drink after work or for a Sunday roast! Does not disappoint, crackling on the pork was crispy and everything on the plate was delicious. Always friendly staff :)

The kitchen is run by Krapow, a Thai street food outfit known for its fiery, flavour-packed dishes. Favourites include the chicken wings with tamarind glaze, pad kra pao, and stir-fried tofu with green beans — all praised for their punchy, authentic flavours. There are vegan and gluten-free options, and the portions are generous without being overwhelming. 3 /5 Miruna Zegheru: Went here with a group of friends to have Sunday roast :) the meat roasts were lovely, especially the beef brisket and Yorkshire pudding were delicious and the gravy had a touch of anise seed, while unusual, it was delicious and a nice touch. However, my plate had only 2 potatoes and 3 pieces of carrot (as seen in the pic, thats it) which i found a bit stingy, considering you pay around £20 and its normal to get a bit more in any other pub/restaurant Ive been. The vegan option was terrible in comparison: the same small amount of veggies and the vegan Wellington was ridiculous in size: a slice of half hollow pastry, which was definitely not enough for one adult. If youre going to serve the meat eaters a decent portion, such as half a chicken why take the piss when it comes to vegans and charge the same price?? While expensive, the desserts were hit and miss: The sticky toffee was good, the apple crumble decent, the cheese cake was lovely, the chocolate orange tart was tough as a brick and flavour definitely did not make up for it. The ice cream was average at best. The service was pretty average, they mixed up certain requirements for the desserts, and had to go back to the kitchen. Having a vegan in a group shouldnt be this consuming for anyone :( The atmosphere was lovely until a big group let their children loose and didnt seem to bother. So perhaps if youre looking for a chill Sunday outing, this might not be the place.
