5 /5 Sam: I had gone to the Himalaya restaurant in Green Street after a very long time, so I did a double take when I saw it had been refurbished. In fact, I thought it was a completely different restaurant at first glance.
It was cosy inside and the decor was aesthetically pleasing.
Service wise, it was the same as how its always been- you select the food you want at the counter, pay for it, and then sit down at your table and wait for the food to arrive.
My friend and I had between us, a chicken biryani, grilled chicken tikka and a chicken seekh kebab, there was a small salad and yogurt raita and chilli sauce on the side.
Overall the food was flavoursome and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
The experience was relaxing and enjoyable and I would recommend the restaurant.
