1 /5 Salma Sopian: Seeing the thousands of reviews with a 4.9 rating, I went in with quite high expectations.
Sadly I was greatly disappointed. Firstly we ordered a platter for 2 and despite being the only patrons, our food took 20-25 mins to come. As for the food, I will start with the one I was really disappointed in - the Adana kebab. Taste was average but it was so so chewy. Genuinely the worst Adana kebab I’ve ever had The lamb chops were also very chewy and we struggled to eat most of the meat. In general the meats tasted average at best and definitely needed a kick. The rice was tasteless. Salad and chips were standard. I’d say the saving grace was the chilli sauce that came with the meal which helped to make the food palatable. It was also quite annoying that the food was served on a tray covered in foil so when we used our forks we would be inadvertently eating some foil.
Bear in mind we were both very hungry as well as we hadn’t had lunch and we both did not enjoy the meal at all.
Definitely not worth ÂŁ41 at all
UPDATE TO REPLY TO THE OWNERS:
I wonder why you’re replying half to my review in Turkish.
Firstly, I’ve been to Turkiye many times and been to many Turkish restaurants both in the UK and in Turkiye and have had Adana kebab. None of them were chewy like the one I was served. You will notice that I did not complain about the taste.
I am also not someone who would not eat something just because I did not like it. That’s called being wasteful. And especially when there are people starving around the world, like in Gaza, why would I leave the food, only for you to bin it? Personally I am also not someone who would even ask for my money back after you have cooked the food, as your time and effort and ingredients have already been used.
The review is there as feedback to improve your food.
