What Clients Are Saying Kumerica African Cuisine and Takeaway Joint (GG)
1 /5 Anna A: I ordered takeaway banku and okra stew.
When it arrived I was well and truly shocked at the presentation of the dish.
The okra was super thick, tasteless and the meat carried no flavour.
Being a Ghanaian and receiving this as ‘banku and okra stew’ was insulting.
I would not recommend, nor will I be ordering again.
5 /5 Tolu Asoro: I ordered a takeaway of Kenke and Tilapia last week and it was wonderful. The staff were pleasant. They were near accurate on how long the waiting time was to get my fish ready and my meal was really delicious and also filling.
1 /5 Edvinas Svirskas: They are selling 3 days old fish, for home delivery, not possible to eat, its so hard.
Dont waste your money!
2 /5 Betty Owusu Wireko: The food was not what I expected, I bought kelewele with Groundnut but I came with just kelewele without the Groundnut which isnt fair and the food is not worth the price too, plus kelewele it felt like I was chewing like a sand or something I could feel it in my mouth. My sister recommended this restaurant to me but I must say Im disappointed and it did not meet my expectation. This is my honest review and it will help u to improve on it.
Josie Edgerton What a friendly welcoming Italian coffee shop, serving great coffee, I havent eaten there yet. The owner is genuinely lovely, been back since my first visit too. You must try it!
Pete Warner The first thing that struck me when I walked into open kitchen takeaway was the atmosphere, because you can see the chefs working and it makes me feel really happy.
There is plenty of seating, and even more place to stand while you wait for your food.
Ive come all the way from Bristol for this and it has not disappointed me. We are here for other things but I still feel like its fair to say that because I have come all the way from Bristol today.
Victoria Murphy My first time having Ghanaian cuisine and it wont be my last! We had the kelewele, chicken jollof and red red. It was all delicious with very generous portions. Definitely recommended!
