5 /5 Arun Upadhyay: Chef Ankur is creating something truly special at this small yet charming café.
From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and promptly shown to our table. Ankur took great care in walking us through the menu, thoughtfully explaining the dishes and highlighting the subtle French influence woven into his food.
The coffee was excellent, and the hot chocolates brought big smiles to the kids. We tried the pancakes, avocado toast, BAP, and the English breakfast. The pancakes and avocado toast were simply outstanding.
As we were leaving, Ankur even prepared a takeaway coffee for me — which turned out to be the highlight of the visit, though I can’t recall the name of that particular coffee.
A must go place.
I wouldn’t be surprised if LA Café earns one of those fancy stars in the near future.
