Madeleine I get both takeaway and eat in the restaurant regularly and the food is amazingly consistent every time. I often order the same dishes and there is never any variation in how the food tastes which is extremely important to me. The owners are lovely and always happy and punctual.

Mia Freeman There’s such a unique, cosy and quirky feel to the restaurant. We ate in the library and we could see the giant strawberries on the ceiling. I love places that have a lot of personality. My favourites were the paella with chicken and saffron and the patatas bravas!

Chris Ross Great view on the side of the Thames where you can watch the boats go through the locks. Service was friendly and quick as we arrived as he was closing and were alone. Had the chicken shawarma and lamb with fattoush salad and fries. All were excellent. The fries had a nice salty spice taste and the Lebanese lemonade was like a nice sweet pink lemonade.

Alys May We stumbled across this place by chance and couldn’t believe our luck. Amazing food, huge portion sizes, fast service, and so friendly! Steak was cooked perfectly. If we’re ever in the area again we will definitely be returning!

Pally So This was my first time visiting as I’m not local, but my uncle and his family are regulars. We were a big group (8 adults and 2 toddlers), and the service was spot on. I arrived first, and everything was ready, including two high chairs which the little ones loved sitting in— they were really comfy! Michael and another staff member (sorry, I didn’t catch her name) were both super attentive, kept checking if we needed drinks or anything else. With two toddlers, we had lots of requests, but nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and really authentic. The steamed turbot and stuffed crab claws were my favourites, but everything we tried was great. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food. I had such a great first experience that I’ve already booked to come back next weekend with some friends!

Danny R It was a lovely experience. We had requested a window seat which we were kindly given and it came with a lovely view of the Thames. The servers were also very considerate and attentive, without being overbearing. My partner and I both had roast dinners, one pork, one beef, which were both really delicious, and the side of stuffing was great as well. The one downside to the experience was the silver skin in the beef. Unfortunately both pieces had a large amount that made it difficult to enjoy, but the beef did taste nice. Overall a very nice experience.
