What Clients Are Saying M and D Japanese Deptford (GG)
5 /5 Eva Rosa Atra: Best tofu katsu Ive ever had, tasty food in general, great curry sauce. If you come Mon-Fri between 12-15 you get the full meal at discounted price. As I usually have takeaway, the picture shows the meal on my plate and sakurazuke (Daikon radish) is my own addition (you get pickled ginger in the restaurant instead). Lovely staff, I highly recommend this place.
5 /5 V KING: M and D has delicious Japanese food! I ordered the crispy shrimp tempura crunch sushi roll and it was delicious and excellent value for the portion at £8 for 8 pieces. The chicken katsu with rice and California roll (5x pieces) were amazing too. It is an underrated spot next to Deptford station (2 min walk). And the chefs are so lovely.
5 /5 Richard Newton: Very good choice and top quality food. Get yourself down there.
Dan R Good range of beers available, and a lovely space in an old arch. Arch = good beer.
Bonus points for having a black IPA on. A smallish fridge with reasonably priced cans to take away as well.
There’s a QR code for ordering food to as well from a local business. I presume bringing your own would also be fine.
L Best Nigerian food in London. I love the rice, beans, hot sauce and assorted meat. The prices for what you get is incredible. Sad I don’t live closer to deptford these days
The service isn’t super friendly but I don’t care anymore lol
Sarah Food was amazing and did not take that long to come out once we ordered. Ellie was our waitress and she was so kind and made the experience so enjoyable. If you’re looking for good music and food but want a quieter experience go on Friday evenings, if you want a busier lively time, go on Saturday. I would deffo recommend this place.
Joseph Stansfield Came for the cheap Thursday menu. Staff were super attentive. Food came out fast staggered and hot which was perfect. Incredible flavours, pork belly, curried coat and Guinness Punch are a must.
