George Sabapathy A great value Chinese restaurant, you can sit in or takeaway, I think youll be pleased either way. Dont be fooled by the slightly tired interior, the food is cooked regularly and the food area is spotlessly clean. The people who run it are friendly and always smiling. The main man knows all of his neverending stream of regulars - and there are a lot of them! - and always greets them with a smile and some banter. Its a pleasure to see and experience. The foods is good and plentiful, £4.30 gets you a large takeaway with rice and two Chinese staples of chicken, pork, beef or vegetables. Definitely worth it, great taste and quality. Working in the area for a while now, Ive quickly become a regular too!

Tasmina Ahmed Emana We visited their green street branch on 11th January 2026, and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and all the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. We tried several items from the menu, and every dish was delicious. The chicken doner was especially impressive — although it was listed as a portion for one person, it was easily enough for two. The staff also mentioned that their peri peri chicken will be coming soon, and we can’t wait to try it. Overall, a great place with generous portions and excellent food. We will definitely visit again.

Aliki Moysiadi What a lovely café! Instantly fell in love with the vibe; great atmosphere and music, a very welcoming place. The staff was cheerful and polite. We had a mocha, a cappuccino, a brie and bacon sandwich, and the breakfast hash. I would have liked the cappuccino a bit stronger, but that is just my personal taste. Everything was prepared with great care and it showed. The cakes all looked seductive but we had to run, so will be going back for those!

Abigail Joseph Popped in here for drinks with a friend and couldn’t resist ordering a vegan platter as a takeaway. When I got home and started on the platter, I was blown away by all the amazing flavours, the softness of the injera and thrilled to see the generous portions. Would definitely recommend this place and I will be back again

Daniel Ali Beautiful and cosy gastropub. Good food and desserts. Limited range of cask ales but there are always at least a couple to choose from. The outdoor area is very comfortable and ideal for groups. Lovely service
