hare super Stopped by CORD on Fleet Street for a weekday lunch and honestly didn’t expect it to be this busy — or this good. I always assumed people around here would just grab a quick sandwich, but the dining room was full of City workers actually taking their time and enjoying a proper meal. The space is beautifully designed. You walk in through a casual café area, then further inside it opens up into a calm, elegant dining room. The open kitchen is a great touch — you can see everything happening, which makes the whole experience feel very transparent and relaxed. Food-wise, everything we ordered was spot on. The A5 Wagyu and bluefin tuna starters were delicate and full of flavour. For mains, the BBQ monkfish was perfectly cooked and the Highland venison en croûte was rich and comforting without being heavy. The peanut soufflé to finish was light, warm and absolutely worth the wait. It’s rare to find a restaurant of this level right in the middle of the City. If you work nearby and want to slow down for once — whether for a long lunch, a business meal or a quiet date — CORD is well worth a visit.

Pop Cristina We absolutely loved our visit to Caloroso Beckton – this place has become our new go-to for family days out The soft play area is brilliant – clean, safe, and packed with fun equipment (slides,colourful balls) that keep our toddler 3 year old busy for 2 hours. Staff are warm and helpful, always on hand to assist. But the food is what truly impressed us! The Romanian dishes are authentic and full of flavour – we had ficatei with polenta and garlic which were absolutely delicious. The pizzas are freshly made with crispy bases and generous toppings too. The kids menu is very good as well. Great value for money, lovely atmosphere, and we’ll definitely be back to try more of the Romanian menu and our kid to have a fun day.

I am very satisfied as a customer and would recommend JM Oriental to anyone looking for good food. It has comfortable seating and chilling atmosphere for group or parties. M H A fun evening of pasta making, great tuition and hosting from Lenacco & Dorje. Great value for money considering the endlessly flowing Prosecco. A suitable evening for all, friends, family & date night. You eat what you make and I never thought I’d be able to make a meal that I’d enjoy having never made pasta before.
