The taste is the true star here. Each dish was bursting with flavour, clearly made with passion and traditional recipes. The smell of the fresh, hot Afghan bread alone is enough to make your mouth water and soul happy. It’s the kind of meal that doesnt just satisfy your hunger—it reminds you of home, of family, and of cherished memories. This is all complemented by the wonderfully friendly and hospitable staff, who make you feel like an honoured guest in their home. Our Saturday night gathering turned into an amazing, memorable evening for our entire group. If you are looking for more than just a meal, if youre seeking a genuine taste of Afghan culture and warmth right in the heart of London, I cannot recommend Bamyan Restaurant highly enough. Erica I absolutely love Hare and Tortoise in Ealing Broadway! It’s my go-to spot whether I’m out with family, friends, or celebrating with colleagues at lunchtime. The menu has a fantastic mix of Asian dishes — noodles, rice, soups, and sushi — but I always come back for the sushi. The salmon box and Dragon rolls are my favourites! The portions are generous, the food is always fresh and delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. A great local gem with consistent quality and a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend!

A M Absolutely incredible! We had the smashed burger and the Philly cheesesteak sandwich, and both were unreal. I added jalapeño and mushroom to mine and it took it to the next level. The patty was sooo tasty and juicy, honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Definitely recommend this place if you’re after proper flavour and quality!

Cristina An exquisite place this is. My husband and I had a wonderful evening at Margaux, made even more special by the exceptional service from Tamara, Devora, Jake and Devon. Each of them was warm, attentive and genuinely kind, creating the perfect atmosphere from the moment we arrived. We ordered the smoked salmon, the duck breast and the chocolate bomb, and every dish was absolutely phenomenal. The flavours were refined and beautifully balanced, the presentation was impeccable and the portions just right. The bill came to a little over £100 and it felt truly worth every penny. Margaux is a gem where both the food and service are of the highest standard. We left feeling completely content and already planning our next visit.
