Restaurante-Bar La Fogata - (Near Southwark, london)

Kieron Maye I dined here for my birthday with my husband last night. The place is warm and intimate. The staff were friendly and attentive. We had the Tavern Gully land of wood & water "run a boat" Inna Peckham Rye, crispy curry lamb nuggets with 24Kt yellow gold curry dust, cucumber, scallion& curry gravy dip. It was delicious and piping hot. For my main I had Chargrilled suya spiced/ 30 day aged 8 oz sirloin steak/ smoked aubergine puree nested crispy garden egg/ okra twigs/ palm wine glaze. The presentation was outstanding and the steak was mouth watering. My husband had Chargrilled butterflied sea bass, stir fried pak choi with shredded carrots, sea lettuce, ginger, garlic, chard green lime, scallion/ red red sauce. It was so soft and delicious. As sides we had both the jollof rice & the plantain; both were sensational. We had a margarita and a glass of orange wine which were both great and lasted our entire meal. Would definitely recommend to try something a little different.

Barbara Man Its so sad... it finished too far... The delivery person was absolutely lovely... The foods was amazing, we ordered the lobster tail, prawns and etc for 2. Next time i am not sharing lol...

Flo Cheska I love egi’s. I been getting food from there for a while, I normally get it online so I haven’t been instore. The food is amazing the sauce is great and they always listen to special requests. I can only imagine the friendly staff that work there. The only thing is the online price is way above what it is instore x

Adrian Clarke This place hasnt changed in the 20+ years Ive been going to.it. The sound quality is not up to concert venue standards, and broke my own rule not.to stand next to the drum kit, as that drowns out everything! Great night, though, especially as the venue was full (300) for the return of Nova Twins

eef heer The food was really quite good. A non-Brit might say awesome. There was clearly some beautiful indigenous influences in the decor, which we appreciated very much. We would definitely recommend the Koma Chaulafan and the seafood rice in coconut sauce. Lovely homemade smoothies and ice cream.

Naeem ur Rehman Everything is perfect. Food and service is just amazing. I tried burger oklahoma burger here. Theburger taste was so delicious. I love it.
