What Clients Are Saying Spring Grove (GG)
5 /5 Sarah Sears: Fantastic Sunday roast, always our 1st choice of pub in Kingston when heading out as a family. Staff are really friendly and it has been beautifully decorated for Christmas.
The Spring Grove has never disappointed us, top pub!
5 /5 Gillian Fitzsimmons: A very positive experience in this spacious cozy gem of a pub. We had a private event here and they catered beautifully for our needs, going beyond standard menu offerings. The food feedback was very good from our guests generous portions and great chips! It was good value too. We had use of sound system and a TV screen for photos we wished to share and there was no particular time to leave or money to hire the space.
Communication was good on the day and my guests told me that all staff they spoke to were polite and helpful.
A big thanks to Matthew and his team for their understanding and pulling off our event beautifully.

5 /5 Gemma McMillan: Theres a distinct smell to a youngs pub that I got instantly when walking in. Went for Sunday lunch to celebrate a birthday. Clearly lots of regulars that are familiar with staff (good sign) we were seated at our booked table, but quickly moved by Matt the manager when a better suited one came available. The food was incredible! We had a beef sharer, fishcake and two childrens meals that were great. Awesome alcohol free options available too. Only feedback I would give is thicker gravy! Warm, cosy British pub feel. Good food, nice atmosphere. Really recommend. Definitely book a table though. The pub was busy our entire visit.
4 /5 Antony Stead: Had a meal here yesterday..
Turned up without a booking..
And was able to get a table..
Service was great.
Unfortunately the vegetable were only like warm but everything else was ok
3 /5 Dominic D: Easter Sunday visit for a family get together. The service was brilliant… lovely staff. The food was a mixed bag. It looked lovely but was served on cold plates so didn’t stay warm for long… the pork was a winner whilst the beef was tough and chewy… the cauliflower cheese was delicious if a little lacking in sauce.
The treacle tart was about half the size of the lemon tart… I wasn’t quick enough to capture it as it was about two bites.
I’m putting it down to being later in the day and hence not the best.
Unfortunately, we decided to leave and have drinks elsewhere because a very talented band started to play, but were so loud it was near impossible to carry on a conversation and we were sitting near the back.
Kathryn Wallace Highly recommend. This is my 5th visit and it gets better EVERY time. I can only recommend one dish because it’s so good and I don’t want to move away from it- The prawn pasta (Gambina?) (extra chilli)
Save room for the tiramisu as well!
Auto_E Absolutely loved this place! The pizza was amazing! Perfect chewy crust and full of flavour. The homemade gelato was generous in portion and not too sweet, you can really taste the ingredients. The owner was really nice and the atmosphere was chill. Definitely coming back!
Jason Jong Came in for Sunday lunch, wasn’t expecting too much but we we very impressed with the quality, and service.
For lunch they have a set menu. At the time of writing Sunday 7/7/24 it was ÂŁ11.50 for entree and main combo. Really good value, and again taste was quite authentic and really good.
Did find the pad Thai a little bit too sweet, and the pad see ew should have been a flat rice noodle instead of egg noodle - but otherwise the it was very tasty with good amounts of wok her! Would come back if I am in the area again !
subash shrestha I must say, it was the finest Nepalese cuisine I’ve ever experienced, featuring distinctive variations of dishes. From the exquisite presentation to the flavorful food, refreshing drinks, and delightful desserts, everything was truly exceptional and unique.
