5 /5 Tracey Lockyer: Best meal Ive had in a long time! Welcoming staff, great location the venue is perfect. Everyone in our party had an excellent meal I had the rump steak from the special menu and it was cooked to perfection with added touches like home made giant onion rings and on the vine roasted tomatoes . Well done to the chef!!

5 /5 Annie Anderson: We stayed at the Buddle for my husbands 70th birthday. The staff were wonderful and couldnt do enough for us to make it a pleasant stay. The food was delicious and the room was clean, cosy and very affordable. We would highly recommend a visit to this lovely pub.

4 /5 Richard J: Lovely pub set in a very quiet location. Rooms beautifully appointed. Food in the pub including breakfast was also really good. It was very cold when we stayed in January and whilst room was warm once the curtains were drawn the pub despite a lovely log fire was uncomfortably cold. Pubs should be warm and inviting and warm it sadly was not. Overheard others with same comments. Staff were lovely especially Emma ?

3 /5 jon pratty: Lovely refurbished and ancient pub near to At Catherines Point. One really good thing about the food at lunchtime is that lite bites are offered, as smaller portions of some of their main dishes. The service was cheerful and prompt. Its very popular with coach parties.

5 /5 Jessi Clayton: Thanks for a fab birthday! We are an LGBTQI+ couple and booked a couple of nights at the Inn for my birthday as a mini-getaway whilst visiting family who live on the island. We noted the occasion in our booking and were given a beautiful room with a huge window overlooking the sea (this might have been a coincidence, but was lovely nonetheless!) The breakfast choices for veggies were good with an equal amount of meat options. It was also quite generously portioned with juice/coffee/cereal as well as the cooked menu. The staff were lovely. They let us leave our bags downstairs when we arrived several hours early, gave me a little birthday treat on the night we ate at the pub, and even let us hide out from some unruly pub guests in the garden when we didnt feel safe with them knowing we were staying - they handled that situation very professionally! Overall Id say this is a great spot for a quaint and quiet experience with lovely well-equipped rooms and a cosy feel.
