Sally White Best roast I’ve ever had! Smokey chicken unlike anything I’ve had before, with beautiful charred veggies. Out of this world! If I was being picky, the Yorkshire was a little crispy and a few beers weren’t being served which was a shame. All in all ridiculously good though!

Coralie Rassinoux As a French person who grew up by the sea and who has lived in the UK for over 15 years, the cod roast was hands down the best fish I’ve had in the UK. It was fresh and cooked to perfection. The crème anglaise was a delicious success. The atmosphere was lovely and family friendly on a grey January Sunday. Great service from the front house team. Highly recommend!

Geyrozaga Keisha Very good burgers, really tasty. Slightly expensive, but they’ve changed the menu since then and added a new collab item with the Truffle Guys. Especially the chips, they’re always so addictively good when I order here, a top five definitely. Quiet and casual, super good eat.

Fred Finn A fantastic restaurant with great ambience and character. The food is cooked to perfection and portions are very generous. We had a party of 5 and all were well satisfied. We have almost private dining experience. The service was great our server was very courteous and helpful and looked after us extremely well. I havent eaten in the restaurant before and its a really great experience I will be back again. Sven Hassel Fantastic service from Andrej, nothing was too much trouble and he was happy and helpful. Great food as always. Sunday night, but the staff were all friendly and enthusiastic. The bench seating is in desperate need of refurbishment, but didnt detract from the general atmosphere.
