5 /5 Stewart Potter: Went there last Sunday 3rd for Sunday lunch before going shopping. Wife enjoyed the Roast Turkey , good portion size and presented well. I went for the Gammon Steak . Both meals were excellent and service was good . Only downfall was the the temperature in the venue , some people had kept there coats on.

5 /5 Karen Barton: We had a great time at The Winning Post. Our grandson is autistic and Jack was absolutely brilliant with him. He ensured that Rory had his meal as he wanted. No sauce on the pasta and seperate cheese. He kept him entertained with their shared love of Transformers and impressed Rory with a photo of his Transformers Devastator model. Jack is an absolute asset to the team.

3 /5 Mr Singh: Welcoming and relaxed atmosphere at lunchtime. Had a great pint of Guinness Zero and really enjoyed the steak and ale pie with chips and peas.

4 /5 Teresa: Excellent menu and prices. Great atmosphere and good place to meet up with friends as there is always plenty of seating available. Often short on staff though with one person quite often covering the bar and restaurant area. The staff can also be quite rude and make you feel they’re doing you a favour by serving you. Weve noticed that returned flat beer is put under the counter and given to the next unsuspecting customer which is not good. Still regularly visit though .

5 /5 steve kent: Popped in for lunch as it’s been quite a while since we last ate at the winning post. The carpark was pretty full but not too busy inside the bar area. The lady serving was doing an amazing job collecting glasses taking bookings, serving food, cleaning tables. There was another younger man at the bar taking everything in his stride. The food arrived and was lovely. Many thanks to Sharon who served and looked after us and made us feel very welcome.
