Helen M Had high hopes for this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. The friendliest welcome as soon as we arrived… the couple running it are genuinely lovely and charming. I have no idea how they manage to produce food of this calibre so calmly and quickly AND find time to chat to guests. All from a tiny kitchen. Anyway the food was outstanding, dish after dish. Fresh, healthy, delicious, beautifully plated. Plenty of vegetarian options too - our vegetarian son asked if they had a Michelin star. They probably deserve one! Really nice laid-back and cosy atmosphere too. Probably romantic if you’re that way inclined….If we were locals this would be a regular for sure - it’s hard to believe there are better local restaurants. As it is we hope to be back before too long!

Tess McHugh We had a great experience! The samosa chaat was a very generous portion, and the lamb biriyani was the highlight! The atmosphere was beautiful and the service was great, highly recommend! Food was really yummy!

Emily Pilcher Tried this place today while visiting Windsor and everything was so good. The lamb samosa and chicken kebab were excellent, and I was lucky enough to try a sample of the lentil soup with barley, oats and spices, which his wife had made: honestly incredible. There are so many homemade options to choose from, including biryanis, egg fried rice, chow mein, soups and sandwiches. I’m already excited to come back and try the jacket potatoes. I’ll 100% be back next time I’m in the area. Highly recommend!

N. Poundo Best burger van by far, quality food, bit on the pricey side but you pay for what you get and was well worth it in my opinion. Grand breakfast baguette was bloody lovely, latte went down a treat as well.

Mark Craig Food was incredible! Mussels, Scallops and Prawns with the chilli and ginger sauce were amazing. Steak melted in your mouth, the garlic, shallot and mushroom went great with it. Lovely setting, very friendly and welcoming staff. Will definitely be going back. Very Impressed.

I went there after hearing great things from friends, and I was not disappointed. I tried their beef burger meal, which was part of their amazing student discount offer only £5, and it was genuinely one of the best deals I’ve ever come across. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, with that rich smoky taste you can only get from a woodfired grill. The portion size was generous, and the fries were crisp and perfectly seasoned a complete, satisfying meal that felt like a real treat without breaking the bank. The staff were another highlight of my visit. They were so friendly, welcoming, and attentive, creating a really warm and relaxed atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, I felt appreciated as a customer, and their positive energy really added to the overall experience. It’s always refreshing to see staff who clearly enjoy what they do and take pride in making every guest feel comfortable. Of course, I couldn’t leave without trying their woodfired pizza, and it was absolutely delicious. The crust had that perfect balance of crispiness and chewiness, with the signature smoky flavor that comes from a traditional wood oven. Every bite was full of fresh ingredients and rich, authentic taste. Overall, Woodfired Farnardo Pizzeria is a hidden gem in Hendon great food, unbeatable prices for students, and wonderful people. Highly recommended!
