Paul Aldridge What a find, a proper old fashioned pub with real beer and unbelievable food coupled with great friendly service, the salmon special with prawn bisque was restaurant quality, will definitely be back.

Mohammed Nijamudeen First time having a jacket potato at a restaurant and I have to say it was better than expected. I went for the garlic chilli chicken and it was really tasty with a good depth of flavour. The tram sauce was spot on. All in all well worth the hype. The only thing was it wasn’t quite as hot as expected. I was a bit surprised to see it fairly quiet for a Saturday evening especially on the high street just a week after opening.

milly v My FAVOURITE Vietnamese restaurant in hampshire! The service is so good, every waiter is extremely welcoming and made my whole experience very enjoyable! I ordered the crispy pork belly once and it was so delicious I have reordered so many times. I honestly love the fresh taste of every item on the menu and I could never go back to regular coffee, the Vietnamese coffee steals the show. This is a must go for anyone seeking fresh, yummy meals with a delightful atmosphere. A massive thank you to the owner, he was such a lovely, funny man and his restaurant deserves a lot of attention. Rai Shafiq Food was fantastic. Lamb sheesh was soft not like rubber in many places. Chicken sheesh was also very good. Salad was fresh and many options like gherkin, pickles and red cabbage. Chips were also crispy and home made chilli sauce was actually a sauce with a taste as opposed to just burning chilli. Authentic turkish bread as well! Fantastic food and service 10 out of 10! Highly reccomend!!

Donna Finch I had a lovely carvery here, Sunday. The food was outstanding. Fresh choice of 4 different meats, outstanding gravy, gorgeous roast potatoes. Yorkshire puddings as big as your head! 5 different veg and amazing cauliflower cheese. The atmosphere was perfect for a Sunday. The ship and castle was totally spotless, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Definitely will be back with my family. Best Sunday lunch in a very long time.
