5 /5 Ann: Great value for money， 80 pounds together, at Dandan Noodles near Aldgate East! The Sichuan dishes here arent just about being spicy - theyre all about great flavour, colour, and aroma. I ordered the beef rice noodles, and the beef brisket and stir-fried pork were both tender and tasty. The absolute classic is the Yu-Xiang shredded pork — incredibly delicious! The service was wonderful as well. The staff even asked if I needed a fork, which was really thoughtful for anyone not tamiliar with chopsticks. Overall, an excellent experience and Ill definitely be coming back!

5 /5 Robbie Morris: Really enjoyed the food and service here. Staff were very attentive and helpful throughout the duration. We started with some grilled pork dumplings. These had some good crisp and were good dipped in the soy and chili crisp. Chili crisp does not have too much kick in case you are wondering. Then we got some Sichuan classic dandan noodles from the lunch menu which I believe might be a slightly smaller serving. Overall it was great but not the best dandan I have ever had. Still a good choice on a cold day like when we ate here.

We asked for a table and only waited about 15 minutes before being seated. We started with dumplings, a seasoned cucumber dish, and prawn dim sum. All were fresh, well seasoned, and very well executed. For mains, we each ordered a different dish: braised beef, braised pork belly, and kung pao chicken. Every plate was balanced, flavourful, and served in generous portions. We also had beers and tea, which paired well with the food. Overall, excellent quality, good variety on the menu, and very fair portions. Definitely worth the wait if you are looking for proper Sichuan food in the area.

I ordered a sweet and sour chicken dish with fried chicken dumplings. The food was piping hot, delicious, not too sweet, not greasy, just perfect. The vegetables that came with the sweet and sour were crispy and full of flavour. The chicken has a wonderful crispy coating too, so nice and freshly made. The service was brilliant, so friendly and respectful I came back the next day to try the garlic chili chicken and was blown away when they checked what time my fast would end so they could have the food ready in time for iftaari!
