Taylan sarıkaya We came here with friends and had such a lovely evening. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. All the desserts were fresh and delicious, but the ekmek kadayıfı was absolutely amazing! It was the first time in a long while that I’ve had ekmek kadayıfı, and also the first time in London — and it truly exceeded my expectations. The syrup was perfectly balanced and the cream on top was just spot on. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to. Highly recommended for anyone with a sweet tooth!

The pizza is outstanding, with a light dough and top-quality ingredients — just like in Italy. Every bite shows their dedication and love for authentic Italian tradition. The other dishes on the menu are also delicious, made with care and fresh ingredients. The service is impeccable — friendly, attentive, and full of warmth. Frankie and Francesca truly make every guest feel special, and that’s what makes Monellis so unique. I highly recommend Monellis to anyone looking for an authentic Italian experience in Hastings. Charlotte Goudie Lovely pub to sit and watch the world go by. Nice, chilled atmosphere, and the pizzas tasted amazing. Was great to be able to see them freshly made. Keith made time for every customer so everyone felt welcome.

Eve Trestain We had a meal at The Chequers Inn and were genuinely blown away. The steak and ale pie was absolutely amazing — packed with flavour, perfectly cooked, and easily one of the best pub pies we’ve ever had. The atmosphere was lovely too: warm, welcoming and relaxed, making it the perfect place to unwind. The staff were brilliant — really friendly, attentive, and made us feel looked after from start to finish. A truly wonderful experience all round. We’ll definitely be coming back!
