3 /5 Nyw ADB: So..
Been meaning to go to this place, probably like everyone else, after seeing it on socials.
My son had a game in Bermondsey so I decided to visit after the fixture ended.
We drove 20 minutes and quickly identified the place having seen barbecue smoke in the air on what was a cloudy day.
It looked relatively busy, but it seemed that most of the punters there had already ordered their food and were waiting.
We waited for c. 15 minutes to order. We ordered 2 platters ..ÂŁ20 each. Waited what seemed like 20 minutes for the order. The food arrived. I wasnt overly happy with the packaging. It seemed like the jous from one of the platters had spilled during the packaging process and had smeared everywhere.
My son, who would normally beg for a Kentucky after a game seemed to enjoy the meal and could only make it halfway through. I enjoyed it to be honest. Was it worth the wait and cost? Probably tbf. Not sure id make a beeline there again specifically but im maybe slightly on the fence with the whole experience.
My son was of the opinion that the wait was too long...again, as I said earlier, Kentucky!
Im happy to wait for good wholesome cooked home food!
