The atmosphere was wonderfully relaxing, and my family had a truly enjoyable evening. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would love to return. Kiki C Amazing lunch experience. Great that it was dog friendly too, as we were just swinging by Reading and wanting something warm and indoors. The staff was attentive and very welcoming and warm, you can tell they are dog lovers too. Our dog was happy he was offered doggy ice cream by a lovely staff member, never had doggy ice cream and he loved it!!

H L-J Ive been eating at Afghan Flavours, Reading for circa 18 months now. I was introduced by my sisters friend and have kept coming back on my own, with a my sister or in small groups. Its very reliable, tasty, fresh and hot food. Family friendly. Very reasonably priced for the quality and freshness. You can see the kitchen from the counter too. Other reviews mentioning service speed need to show some patience. Freshly cooked and prepared food takes time and this is an increasingly popular establishment. I would describe as cafe style eating. Whether its the Channa Daal, Houmous, halloumi, chicken byriani, Qabuli chicken/lamb, chicken/lamb charsi karahi, Afghan style red kidney beans, Chaplin kebab paties, chicken or lamb or mixed tikka or lamb kofta - I recommend all. For drinks would recommend mint or green tea (loose tea) or mango lassi (glass or jug) or a fresh juice. I prefer to eat in, but take away is also available. A friendly and hardworking team. Graciele Chaves Bergamim Dorfe was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, he made sure we had the perfect table, and his menu recommendations were spot-on. Patient, friendly, and genuinely attentive, he made the whole experience feel special. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Tomasz Piela Cool place with a good atmosphere. The burgers we ordered were really good. My only problem was that the location wasn’t obvious and easy to find the first time.
