5 /5 Huyen Bui: We held our wedding reception at Stanley’s on Friday 12th, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From start to finish, Peter and Hugh were absolutely amazing—their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made the whole experience seamless. The entire team of staff was impeccable, ensuring everything ran smoothly and that our guests were well looked after. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and delivered piping hot to every guest—a detail that made such a difference. Many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed their meals, which added even more to the celebration. The courtyard restaurant decoration was just so beautiful, creating the perfect setting and atmosphere for our special day. The combination of outstanding service, incredible food, and a stunning venue made our wedding day truly unforgettable. We are so grateful to Stanley’s for making our celebration so special ❤️

5 /5 Isabela Guillen: Had a really lovely dinner at Stanley’s! Service was really great from the moment we walked in, and the secluded courtyard is a beautiful place for a meal. We ordered the focaccia, burrata, and sugar snap peach salad to start- all delicious and very fresh. Mains of saffron risotto and chicken with girolles and peas were equally delicious and well cooked. Can’t wait to come back again and try more dishes.

1 /5 Asif CHAUDRY: We hosted the annual Christmas dinner party for our NHS specialist surgical team comprising 25 people. We were provided with a relatively dingy room towards the back of the restaurant complex that also acted as a conduit to the toilets. Service was poor from the moment we entered. The booking was for 18:30 and the staff aimed to rush with a generally unpleasant temperament from the manager to the waiting staff. Not a single member of staff smiled or asked us how we were throughout the 4 hour period we were present. This was strange as the principal part of the restaurant seemed relatively quiet. The menu lacked flair and the dishes did not compensate by the substantive quality of the ingredients. The food was filling but basic. The evening was enjoyable due to the excellence of my colleagues, despite the surroundings. The total cost per person was more than I have paid at venues such as The Lanesborough or Maison Estelle. We will not rebook next year.

The food and drinks were out of this world – every course was beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and an absolute joy to eat. The wine and cocktail selection was excellent too, with something for everyone and perfectly paired with the meal. The service was second to none. Every single member of staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and welcoming, which made the whole day run seamlessly. The courtyard looked stunning, and the team went above and beyond both in the set-up and in the lead-up to the big day. Their care and attention to detail truly exceeded our expectations and the planning process was so relaxed and enjoyable. Stanley’s helped make our wedding day so special, and we’ll treasure the memories forever. We’re already looking forward to coming back with friends and family – a glass of wine on the terrace will be the perfect way to relive those happy moments!
