3 /5 Matthew Baker: Got the gourmet spicy burger. From the taste it was likely a frozen catering mass produced patty, nothing particularly gourmet. Only thing saving it was that it was reasonable value and cooked fresh hence the average rating.

1 /5 Ainy Yousaf: The woman behind the till charges wrongly and does not confirm the other with you and is quick to take the payment. And if you ask why I was charged the wrong price she gets aggressively loud and rude blaming the customer for not saying ‘it’s for child’. So when I say ‘I’d like to have the £1.99 chips ‘, then I mean that and you charge me £6.99. She is just openly conning people out of their money and the owner was present instead of giving me a refund he said I will put 3 nuggets in for the extra £1 charged. Excuse me! So bad at 2+2. The atmosphere wasn’t pleasant at all as the door was open and the traffic outside was just awfully loud. I will not be returning at all. I am all for supporting small local businesses but I value honesty.

2 /5 Tee_ TheNubianXpat: I decided to try the couple platter, which cost a steep £25, but I was seriously disappointed. The container was ridiculously light, which was my first red flag. Upon opening it in the shop, I was underwhelmed by the shabby salad thrown in with the hot meats. They even packed it separately, so I had to ask for a container just to take it out—why? The lamb chops and wings looked dry, and the rest of the platter was no better. A piece of cod, lamb and chicken kebabs, and four small wings—honestly, everything was as dry as it looked. The portion size was also pathetic for the price. I had to fork out an extra £2 for a portion of rice, which should’ve come with the platter in the first place. The food was not fresh and definitely reheated to sell( hence the dryness). The rice was heated in the microwave and put in a container right in front off me !!!!! All in all, this was a complete waste of money and the first and last time I’ll be buying that platter. Save your cash and stick with their £2 biryani instead!
