5 /5 Lesley Burton: This is a truly wonderful restaurant. Right on the seafront , very imaginative menu , nice staff . We had a selection of the oysters - tempura oyster , miso oyster , smoked squid and Cajun Monkfish small plates all delicious and interesting. Joel snd Ash ate passionate about the food and the experience and made our evening all the more enjoyable. We will definitely be back .

5 /5 Alex Callahan: Fabulous experience at the Copper Clam for a late Saturday lunch. We were seated upstairs in the arched window overlooking the beach and were lucky enough to see the beautiful sunset before we left the restaurant. The interior is cosy and nicely decorated, the service was friendly and attentive and the food was superb! Highly recommend the monkfish with houmous, the scallops and the Portuguese cataplana. Overall an outstanding experience!

5 /5 Lili Veness: Had a fantastic dining experience at The Copper Clam, and the food absolutely lived up to the hype. We started with a selection of small plates, and every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The seafood really stood out—perfectly cooked mussels in a buffalo sauce, were a highlight. The squid dish was equally impressive. You could tell a lot of thought went into both flavour combinations and presentation. We also tried a couple of lighter bites, including a small tuna tartare dish topped with fresh ingredients that tasted bright and well-balanced. Even the sides—like the fresh bread with butter and sautéed greens—felt carefully considered rather than an afterthought. The overall vibe was relaxed but stylish, with rustic wooden tables and a warm atmosphere that made it perfect for a casual but high-quality meal. Service was attentive without being overbearing.

5 /5 Sasha: The Copper Clam was fantastic. I wanted to book before but I believe that it was closed for renovation. Coming in from the wind and the rain, the Copper Clam was very homely and all lit up with fairy lights, candles and obviously Christmas decor. Very welcoming!! We ordered a couple of starters, olives (by the far the most delicious olives I have ever had), Moules Marinier, 1/2 a Lobster, soup of the day and these cute little pastry things, of course some scallops. Beautifully presented dishes and service with a joke and a smile. Unfortunately the chef was married!
