What Clients Are Saying Devonshire Road Nature Reserve (GG)
5 /5 Jo Featherston: A very interesting introduction to pond and forest creatures for young children
5 /5 Dave Herbert: Excellent festival of the Forest. Great music, great food, great price, great beer and excellent mood, I was loved up.
We will go next year but book early as they limited the number of people who could attend due to overcrowding. Fun for all the family
1 /5 Michael Daniels: Ive been working on a flat in 174 Devonshire Road, 50 metres away, but still got stung 3 times by the bees!
If theyre that aggressive, youre doing something very wrong.
Yes, I do keep bees myself and dont even use smoke, so I know what Im talking about.
5 /5 Katie L: We attend the Muddy Boots sessions on a Friday morning with my toddler and it is a wonderful activity. The nature reserve is quite incredible and my little boy loves walking through the woods (and then going to spot trains). The activities are always so well facilitated, would recommend to all pre schoolers
1 /5 Sam Thomas: Walked in here as the gate was open - had a nice walk around the park. Upon exiting one of the grounds keepers screamed and told me “we’re not actually open”.
Why is it that this is only open one day a month as a public space? My guess would be the staff here use this more like a private park or allotment for themselves rather than something for the public good.
