Rockni Restaurant – Authentic Persian Cuisine - Kensington and Chelsea

Ona C If you are looking for authentic Persian flavours, look no further. This restaurant serves homemade fresh Persian food, and on top the prices are really reasonable, you can feast for a great value, as the food is excellent. We had the lamb and chicken skewers, with rice. The taste and tenderness of the meat were incredible. Also some of their dips, with the bread made at the moment in front of you… I mean oh wow! On top the service here is so good! You really deel like home. Definitely going back for more!

Mary Fragapane Such a lovely place. We stopped for a sandwich and it was so good we returned for a full dinner the very next day. The food is incredible, made with love ❤️ The owner and staff are so charming. Great for take away or to eat in.

Harry Lee Walked in randomly after many years of absence and ordered some takeaway. Had the chicken saag and was recommended the lamb vindaloo, both of which were very authentic and delicious. Accompanied by some steamed rice, the food was nothing short of amazing and will go back again very soon. They don’t serve alcohol, but allow BYO. The atmosphere is warm and homely. I remembered an elderly gentleman who used to own/operate the restaurant and so glad that the quality of the food has been maintained. The cost of the meal for an eatery in this area with such high quality food is ridiculously cheap. If you haven’t been, I would make a beeline asap.

Daniel Cothran White tablecloth, scrape the crumbs off the table kind of place, but not stuffy. You can still dress casually. Our waitress provided excellent service, and the food was very solid. We ordered a fish sampler for two (which was an appetizer platter), palak chat, dal makhani, and naan. It was a perfect amount of food for two. The tandoori salmon that was part of the platter was surprisingly delicious.

Rubo JamOne The best fried chicken yes, especially the spicy one, but whats with the ridiculously small size for the sauces? ÂŁ1 gets you a tiny pot filled to 1/3 of its capacity. The gravy pots are also tiny, as if gravy was expensive!

Fajer Hanni The atmosphere was nice, and the staff were very friendly. I tried a flat white, although I prefer lactose-free milk. They had alternatives, so I opted for a flat white with almond milk, which was tasty. The blueberry muffin was delicious as well.
