5 /5 Jon Sharp: Serene location overlooking the lake. Good quality coffee and food. Was not to busy midweek so service was quick. Large outside seating area.
5 /5 Balu Olah: We had a wonderful brunch at Pear Tree Cafe in Battersea Park. The location is fantastic, surrounded by greenery, and the park itself is absolutely beautiful. It creates a relaxed yet posh brunch atmosphere that we really loved.
We ordered the scrambled eggs with salmon, and it was both very filling and delicious. Exactly what you want from a late morning meal. The cappuccino was the same size as the latte, which felt unusual at first, but we were pleasantly surprised and very happy about it!
It can be a bit difficult to find a seat because the cafe is quite popular, but once you settle in, the experience is definitely worth it.
If you are looking for a stylish brunch spot with great food and a lovely park view, this place is a perfect choice. Highly recommended!
1 /5 Chiswick Snapper: £ 8.40 was a bit steep for what turned out to be 2 cups of milk froth with a very subtle flavour of cheap coffee, especially when I had ordered 2 cappuccinos. I appreciate many cafes and bars are feeling the strain these days but if you are charging this kind of money for coffee served in a paper cup, at least make it taste good and use ingredients. Its not as though there isnt enough mark up.
Sorry if this sounds harsh but no one likes being ripped off.
On the plus side, staff were pleasant enough but definitely not a place for coffee lovers.
5 /5 Laura Illes: Beautiful food and good coffee everytime we visit. This is one of our favourite cafes in London for 5 years now. Always very busy but the service never disappoint. Kind and helpful staff.
Si A very attractive, large backstreet pub, with nice wood panelling, a cute garden and a pool table. They were showing football on the TV but it wasnt imposing.
The Sunday roast was excellent (zero complaints there... The Yorkshires were brilliant) and the staff were very friendly.
Id happily return.
