1 /5 Matthew Coke: Ive tasted many Indian food from several restaurants in Kent and Im just being honest - the food if very bland.The Pathia dish is a favourite of mine and it was tasteless and lacked spice. Ive even tried to give this place the benefit of doubt and tried a second time for myself and extended family and they all said the same.The food was still undesirable and we all had different dishes. In addition to this, when I went to collect my order I felt the staff to be quite unwelcoming. A Gentleman beside me who was waiting for his order was offered a drink but they didnt even attempt to offer me one. Not a big issue but thought Ill point that out. On a good note, the restaurant always seems quite packed in the evening but overall the food is not great.

5 /5 Holly: We went to The Shamrat today for Christmas dinner and honestly couldn’t fault a single thing. The food was absolutely incredible, full of flavour and beautifully cooked. Every member of staff was amazing too: so welcoming, friendly, and genuinely attentive without being overbearing. What really stood out was the value for money. For the quality of food and service, it was exceptional. We had such a lovely experience and felt really well looked after from start to finish. We’ll 100% be back next year for Christmas, and definitely plenty of times before that as well. Highly recommend!

5 /5 Mr Samson: First time we’ve been and won’t be the last. Was a little gem we found in our new home town. Food was amazing. The staff were friendly and had good humour. Treated us to an aperitif on the house. Cannot complain about anything. Highly recommend.

5 /5 Marie Bilton: We had our first Christmas Day lunch away from home this year and it was the most wonderful day. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere was great and the staff were 10 out of 10. Will be visiting more in 2026, already considering next Christmas Day.
