5 /5 David Watts: TOWN Restaurant came recommended, and lived up to its billing.
A beautiful space, really very unique - bold, but not overwhelming.
Staff were charming, and helpful throughout- looking after us and our dog very well (he was given my plenty of fuss, and some water in a lovely bowl!).
The food was mostly excellent. Of the snacks, the fried sage leaves were unique and the bread super. For starters, we shared the saffron risotto (with some delicious bone marrow) and the ricotta ravioli - both delicious. For the mains, the pork with peaches was fantastic but for me, the lobster was a bit of a let down.
Drinks were all excellent - we had a few cocktails, including whats possibly the best vodka martini Ive ever had - truly top notch. Great wine list as well - a good range of options and prices.
Highly recommended!
