5 /5 ANAR KITCHEN: I visited this lovely restaurant all the way from London, and it was absolutely worth the trip. We had the pilau rice with lamb shank, Chopan kebab, and chapli kebab – all of them were outstanding. The lamb shank was tender and full of flavor, the rice was fragrant and perfectly cooked, the Chopan kebab was juicy and well-seasoned, and the chapli kebab had that authentic, rich taste that really stood out. The hospitality was just as memorable as the food – the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. The restaurant itself has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, which made the whole experience even better. ( Also there is good parking) Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Afghan cuisine with generous portions and warm service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

3 /5 T C: Walked past the bins outside and genuinely thought that was part of the experience. They were overflowing, and rubbish was spilling out. We didnt want to judge a book by its cover, so we decided to give Afghan Chopan a go. But when we saw the bathroom later on... lets just say that hygiene must have been on Christmas break. The inside was empty and quiet, but we were seated straight away. The food may have looked appetising, but it was severely underwhelming. The chapli kebab was burnt, oily, and tasted like it had been deep-fried out of spite... which was probably the case, given the mean looks the man working there gave us. The meat curry was so mid and bland, and wasnt even hot. On the bright side, the naan was beautiful and fresh. This restaurant gives a bad rep to Afghan food, and I honestly dont understand the high ratings this restaurant has received on google reviews. I would only recommend this restaurant if you were looking to build your character, or train your immune system.

5 /5 Mazhar Hussain: I had an absolutely delightful experience at Afghan Chopan! From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance. The food was simply outstanding; each dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. The kebabs were tender, the rice perfectly cooked, and the appetizers were a treat. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who made sure we were comfortable throughout. Overall, Afghan Chopan is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Afghan cuisine. Five stars all the way!
