5 /5 Samantha Woodward: This is a well oiled machine! Appears to be family run, not sure if thats true. We had 8oz cheese burger and chips and a cod and chips. Fish was fresh, burger was generous in size and juicy and chips where proper chippy chips. Stuffed now!! Would highly recommend.

5 /5 Nicholas Cannock: Excellent service and really good fish and chips. I came in with a big order including some request from fussy people and they were really patient and helpful. The fish and chips were excellent all round. My kid had the fish cake which was one of the best I have tasted from a chippy. This will my first choice when we come on holiday here again. 1 /5 Aine Hyde: I went to AJs this evening after it was closed for a few weeks but was optimistic because of previous purchases Ive had which were really tasty and hot but unfortunately on this occasion it was very different possibly a different cook? .still no excuse......I purchased 2 large cod large chips 2 large mushy peas and pickled onions coming to to around £27 (price isnt the issue) which was fine before as the food was tasty and hot....this was neither tasty or hot......the fish wasnt wrapped very well and the chips well lets just say they werent fresh out of the fryer. I phoned up with my order at 17:00 as thats when it opens so thought well thered be a good chance of the food being fresh and hot and I collected it at 17:30 but sadly not......Im so disappointed as there really arent many decent fish and chip shops around and AJs is very local to me. I wont be returning.
