5 /5 Laura Howarth: Fabulous meal here this evening! Lovely little restaurant in the High Street in Ventnor, with great service, great service and wonderful food! I had the caprese salad to start, beautifully presented and tasted superb - I told chef I could never have caprese again because it would never be as good as that was. Crab linguine to follow, in a garlic, tomato and chilli sauce. The sauce was full of flavour, perfectly seasoned and a very subtle note of chilli. Everything is cooked to order, so it takes a little time but the wait is totally worth it. Im just sad we dont live in Ventnor so wont be able to visit here again. If youre in the area and love great cooking with fresh ingredients then put this on your to do list.

3 /5 Polly O-C: Really lovely food here, just such a shame that the wait was over and hour for our pizzas. We were a group of 7 coming to eat here on the first night of our holiday and, while the atmosphere and servers were really lovely, the wait time was just not good enough. They announced that they were serving pizzas only, which was a bit of a shame as we had booked in hope of having a bit more variety than that, however completely understandable that sometimes things happen and menus need to be shortened. Not a problem, pizza menu is fairly large so we stayed optimistic! Then after putting in our order, the wait got to over an hour and things became less optimistic. Then 3 out of the 7 dishes we ordered arrived and the food looked/smelled gorgeous! However, it was another 10 minutes before the rest of the food arrived. A real shame. We as a family like to wait until everyone has their food to start eating. However if we had done this here, I wouldve had stone cold stone baked pizza :( We also have a family tradition of going back to the same, first night restaurant on the last night of our holiday. Needless to say, unfortunately this tradition was broken this holiday. In summary, lovely little place with some really yummy food for a reasonable price, and some really lovely staff, but the wait time was far too long. Perhaps a smaller group wouldve fared better, but I certainly wouldnt return in a larger group than 3. 5* for the food itself, 3* for the service as the waiters were really nice (despite the kitchen being very slow), and 4* for atmosphere, as the place was cool and quirky, but it was clear that we were not the only ones waiting a long time for food.

4 /5 Hannah Jacobs: Lovely food and a good selection of very nice pizzas and pastas. Perhaps a little pricey for what it is, but the portion sizes were decent. My boyfriend and I had two pizzas and a sharing platter between us and we were both very full afterwards. They allowed me to box up what I couldnt finish as well, so that was handy. Service was also friendly and staff were polite and helpful. However, its only small and theyve tried to cram in more tables than they really have room for. The result is an extremely awkward and hazardous layout. Immediately getting in the door, we had to literally squeeze past two people back-to-back in their chairs who were barely centimetres apart. And when we sat down at our table, we ended up blocking in a woman on the table next to us due to the positioning of the chairs. We couldnt just move the chairs round to the other side of the table either, because then we would have been blocking another walkway. As someone who works in health and safety, the whole layout is actually quite dangerous. Evacuation would be a nightmare in the event of a fire or other emergency! Also, they really need to do something about the squeaky door!
