Anong Thai - (Near Berkshire, South East)

5 /5 James Richings: One of the best! I am a bit tentative when it comes to Thai food as its not my go-to cuisine, but my experience at Anong was fantastic. Kitthey, and her staff were very cordial, we had plenty of good chats as we had someone with an allergy at our table, they were so helpful in what we could order. The chicken and prawns were excellent, and the mixed platters were also very good.

5 /5 Sorawich Chirapruek: Found this restaurant on Instagram. I enjoy fine dining, especially at Michelin restaurants. Food was superb and just as good as the top end restaurants, authentic and delicate. The mixed starters were a highlight, all handmade by the chef and served fresh. They were so delicate and full of all natural flavours. I came all the way from Canary Wharf just to try this place out and was not disappointed. Would come again and recommend to everyone who wants to try Thai palace cuisine.

5 /5 Jorge Dennis Agcaoili: Always went to another Thai restaurant chain but thought wed try a more local one for a change. We cant fault it. Chicken and Prawn Pad Thai was delicious. We really liked the Green Chicken Curry, both in taste and presentation! The experience was made even better by the waitress who was very friendly and always smiling. You can tell that she loved her work.

5 /5 Ben Lin: I had a wonderful experience today. The manager and staff were very friendly and the food was clearly fresh, well prepared and very authentic. None of the dishes were a disappointment and you can really taste the effort that was put into making the dishes. Between the two of us we ordered the mixed starters, green curry chicken, duck salad, weeping tiger, coconut rice, and prawn and chicken pad thai. For desserts and drinks we got the thai ice tea, mango sticky rice and pandan pancakes with ice cream. The highlight for me was the mixed starters, especially the spring rolls and fish cake, as everything was made in house by the chef from scratch with no added flavour enhancers. Everything tasted natural and delicious and as the food should be; nothing less and nothing more. I would say this is one of the best and authentic Thai restaurants in London and I would definitely be coming back if I’m around the area. It is worth the detour and I highly recommend it. Overall a very positive experience!

5 /5 Wynzel Rebello: Amazing service and amazing food! I’ve eaten here 3 times in the last 6 months and it never disappoints. The Tom yum soup is my nieces favourite, while I enjoy the green Thai curry and fried rice. Also, I’d like to add that it’s one of the best kid-friendly restaurants I’ve visited.
